Mary Roxie Cundiff

Mary Roxie Knight Cundiff, age 82, of the Oak Hill Community, departed this life on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1928 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Thomas and Ada Stephens Knight. Mrs. Cundiff retired from South Kentucky Rural Electric and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Steve (and Doris) Cundiff of Somerset; a grandson, Steve Cundiff II of Somerset; a granddaughter, Rhonda (and Mark) Krummen of Walton; and four great-grandchildren, Taylor Cundiff, Kaylee Cundiff, Lindsey Krummen and Kenton Krummen. Along with her parents, Mrs. Cundiff is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cundiff, whom she married on June 25, 1949; and a granddaughter, Melissa Cundiff. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Oak Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Brown and Bro. Gary Phelps officiating. The family of Mrs. Cundiff will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. The family of Mrs. Cundiff request that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Gideons International.
