Dorothy Lee "Dottie" Price

Dorothy Lee "Dottie" Price, daughter of the late Kenneth and Retha Judge Mounce, was born September 7, 1942 in Somerset, KY.She was united in marriage to Mr. Carl Price on September 14, 1963 in Somerset, KY; he survives. Other survivors include; eight sons, Jonathan Pedro, Donovan, Dennis, Adrian, Terry, Robert, Adam and Sean; five daughters, Tonine Brown, Tammy Price, Sylvia Price, Krystal Price and Brittany Price Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Michael and Malachi Price, Mac Price-Dimond, Dakota and Kaylee Brown and Carly Hamilton; and two sisters, Lois (Kenneth) Avera (Kendra/Jerry Owens, Morgan Avera) and Linda (Charles) Latham (Monica/Denny Halcomb, KC/Paige Latham).Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sons; Darren Dwayne, Stephen Brian, Christopher Eric Price.Dottie was a 1960 graduate of Somerset High School. She was always the life of any social gathering, with her love for others and creating joy and laughter through all her interactions. She never met a stranger, only more friends. This was evident with the continual growth of her family through her adoration of children. Her outpouring passion to help children find a 'forever home' was echoed by her involvement with Arizona and Kentucky foster and adoptive children. She was gifted in her talent for the arts with ceramics and painting. She had a kind and loving heart, and will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.A memorial service for Mrs. Price will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev.
