John C. Moss

John C. Moss, son of the late Cleveland and Mollie Williams Moss was born in North Carolina on November 18, 1917 and he departed this life on February 15, 2017 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 99 years.He was united in marriage to Marie Louise Moss, she preceded him in death. Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by; three brothers, Harold, Sherman and Ed Moss.Survivors include; two sons, Robert Neal Moss and John Richard (and Wanda Lane) Moss; and four step grandchildren, Lisa Reynolds, Teresa Wiles, Lydia Mendoza and Arnold Spears.John was a retired manager from the Roses Department store where he served in that capacity for more than forty years. He was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Somerset Country Club. He enjoyed being with family and playing golf. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Mill Springs National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 with Rev. Gilbert Robinson officiating.Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.The family of Mr. John C. Moss will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Pulaski Funeral Home prior to the graveside services.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Mr. John C. Moss.
