Adam Barrera

Adam Barrera, 59, of Somerset, Kentucky formerly of Abilene, TX, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Good Samaritain Hospital in Lexington.

He was born in Spokane, WA on September 29, 1963; son of the late Severiano Portfilio and Joyce (Robe) Barrera. Throughout his life he worked as a carpenter building homes. He enjoyed woodworking, cars, guns, and going fishing.

He is survived by his children, Breanna Mlaka, Alisha Barrera, Aric Barrera, and Sky Barrera; his fiancée Valerie Wallace a grandson, Elijah Mlaka; siblings, Alden Barrera, Adrian Barrera, Anthony Barrera, Andrea Barrera, and Arnold Barrera.

In honoring Adam’s wishes a private cremation service will be held.
