Alice Wilson

Alice Ravaina Fickey-Wilson, age 85, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.

Alice was born on September 30, 1940 to Clarence Henry Fickey and Jettie Pearlene Renfro-Fickey. She was a great gardener with an amazing green thumb and had a love for plants like no other. Alice was a hard working woman and was a devoted mother to her six children. She enjoyed spending most of her time with family, friends, and her babies (plants) in her older years.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her three daughters, Lori Vanover, Pamela & (Gary) Dickinson, Barbara Moore; along with her son, Gary Vanover.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Wayne & (Shelley) Vanover of Somerset, Larry & (Debbie) Vanover of Tomahawk, Kentucky, Michelle Coffey of Somerset, and her bonus daughter, Anna Ross. She also leaves her fourteen grandchildren, Lucas Vanover, Larry Vanover, II., Jason Vanover, Brett Vanover, Lynette Vanover, Eric Moore, Timothy Moore, Gary Vanover, II., Amanda Rutherford, Jason Taylor, Adam Johnson, Ashley Phillips, Jordan Gilreath, Olivia Brown, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Carol Jones; and a host of other friends and family whom she loved dearly.

Alice was blessed to live a long and healthy life and her fun, loving spirit never failed to make everyone laugh. She will be missed dearly and her mark that she left on everyone she ever met will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at 4 :00 PM Friday, April 3, 2026 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home

Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2026 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.
