Amy Nicole Unthank Meece

Amy Nicole Unthank Meece, 43, of Owingsville, Kentucky formerly of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the University of Kentucky.

She was born in Amelia, OH on March 4, 1983; daughter of the late Ray Unthank and Ruby Sears Meece. She was always there whenever she was needed, offering unwavering love, strength, and support. Kind, selfless, and beautiful inside and out, she lived life with a spirited sense of adventure and a touch of wildness that made every day memorable. She found joy in hiking, mudding, crafting, exploring new places, and, most of all, spending cherished time with her family. Her greatest happiness came from making those around her smile.

Above all, she loved her children and her grandchildren beyond measure-her grandchildren held a particularly special place in her heart and were the light of her life.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Leiya Meece & (Trent Bottom), Devin Meece, Kaleb Meece, and Bella Meece; her significant other, JT Raybourn; grandchildren, Alaina Meece, Elias Meece, Willow Meece, Kainan Meece, and Jasper Bottom; two brothers, Thomas Hensley and Eric Unthank; her best friend, Melissa "Shortums" Harris; and a host of other family and friends who meant the world to her.

A celebration of Amy's life will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Nix officiating.

The family will receive friends after 12 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2026 until time for services.
