Amy Elizabeth Scull

Amy Elizabeth Walker Scull, 48 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023.

She was born April 14, 1974, in Pikeville, Kentucky to Geraldine Coleman Walker and the late Lester B Walker. Amy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Somerset where she took an active role in several ministries. She loved to laugh, the color purple, and her roses. Amy enjoyed animals and children, and spending time with her family especially her son. Amy was known for being "the woman with a plan" and used this skill to keep her family on track. She was a strong lady with a strong will and was a fighter and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Amy is survived by her husband, Joseph Scull IV, her son; Joseph Chauncey Walker, her mother, Geraldine Walker, a sister; Rebecca (John) Shaffer of Tennessee, two nieces; Madylin Shaffer and Avena Conner; her in laws, Joseph Scull III and Beverly Scull, and one nephew, Jeyren Conner as well as many friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester B Walker and one brother Mark Lester Walker who passed in infancy.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the First Methodist Church of Somerset with Rev. Chris Basil officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM. until time for services. Burial will follow in the Flat Lick Cemetery.
