Anna Mae Simpson, 84, of Somerset passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Nancy, Kentucky on August 24, 1936; daughter of the late Joe and Ruth Rogers. She retired as a seamstress from Palm Beach. She was a member of Rock Lick Baptist Church where she loved attending. She loved sewing, playing piano, wearing hats and broaches, and watching red birds. She is survived by her daughter, Judy & (Michael) Dalton; her son, Roger & (Jodie) Simpson; two sisters, Ilene Muse and Regina Barker; grandchildren, Cassidy Dalton Ratliff & (Seth), Clayton Dalton, Christopher Dalton, Jordan Simpson, Russell Simpson, and Jillian Simpson; and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Simpson whom she married on October 1, 1955, and who passed away on January 13, 2013; a son, Dudley Ray Simpson; brothers, Billy Rogers, Frankie Rogers, Isa Nell & (Harold) Sumpter, Geneiva & (Luid) Branscum; brothers-in-law, Carter Muse, and John Bill Barker. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Rock Lick Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Lick Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Rock Lick Baptist Church until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
