Anna McKee

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Anna Mae McKee of Sloans Valley, KY. Anna passed away on April 18th, 2026, at the age of 77 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital surrounded by family

Anna (Ann) was born on September 19th, 1948, in Poplar Mountain (Clinton County), KY to the late James and Etta Sidwell and was of the Baptist faith. On July 26th, 1966, she married her husband Garry McKee lived a full and blessed life with him and their family. Ann was a home maker who raised her family with the love that all people should know. Ann loved being outdoors, watching birds, fishing, going to the mountains, playing softball, four wheeling, sewing, and enjoyed bingo.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Wymann Sidwell; two sisters, Peggy Riddell, Jean Cassada; and a son, Danny McKee. She is survived by her loving  husband of 59 years Garry McKee; son, Bobby McKee; two daughters, Elaina (Clyde) Johnston and Niki (Bryan) West; three brothers, Bill (Sharron) Sidwell, Jerry Sidwell, Jim (Tabatha) Sidwell; a sister, Freda Higginbotham; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Carrender, Samantha (Kevin) Gregory, K-Anna (Michael) Miller, Veronica (Nathan Bray) McKee, Leland McKee, Norah (Jerry Sneed) McKee, Aliyah McKee, Alexandria West, and Cody West; twelve great grandchildren, Josh Deaton, Harley Deaton, Owen Carrender, Elijah Hughes, Serenity Hughes, Maddox Miller, Kylee Miller, Emmett Miller, Zoey Cox, Kegan Cox, Emma Bray, and Malachi Bray; and two great great grandchildren, Gracelynn Deaton and Grayson Troxtell; and many other family and friends who will sadly miss her

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 1PM at Pulaski Funeral Home, 165 KY-2227, Somerset, KY 42503 with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Sloans Valley Cemetery Pall Bearers will be Bobby McKee, Clyde Johnston, Bryan West, Samantha Gregory, Tyler Carrender, Cody West, and Leland McKee.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11AM until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home.
