Arthur McClendon

Arthur Clyde McClendon, age 61, passed away Wednesday, December 10th, at his residence.

He was born to Sirl McClendon and Beatrice McClendon (Young) in Nancy, KY. Arthur was a faithful follower of Christ who attended church faithfully at Pitman Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fellowship with his church family and attending many church functions. He also enjoyed sports, watching his favorite shows and playing Rook with his family. He was a proud grandfather who found great joy in spending time with his family. Arthur was committed to serving the Lord and helping those around him. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his daughter; Kimberly Pretorius & Andre Pretorius; a son, Jonathan McClendon; a grandson, Grayson Pretorius; two brothers, Clifford McClendon (& Cassie) McClendon and Roger McClendon (& Kathy) McClendon; two sisters, Pamela Leigh and Janice Armstong; Brother-in-law, David Sayers; and special friends, Greg and Debbie Humphrey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Eunice Sayers and Gladys Loveless.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Baker and Bro. Larry Butte officiating. The family of Mr. Arthur McClendon will receive friends from 11 :00 am Tuesday until time for services.
