Betty Louise Yahnig

Betty Louise Hudson Yahnig, daughter of the late Russell and Alcie Neeley Nicholas was born in Pulaski County, KY on March 6th, 1929 and she departed this life on January 12th, 2023 having attained the age of 93 years.
She was first united in marriage to Mr. Herman Hudson, he preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to Mr. Dudley Yahnig, he also preceded her in death.
She is survived by; her son, Gary Hudson; a step-son, Carl Henry Yahnig; two step daughters, Carolyn Spaw and Marilyn Blevins; three grandchildren, Sherri (Scott) Spahr, Jason (Dorenda) Hudson and Jonathan Hudson; three great grandchildren, Hailey Hudson, Nevaeh Hudson, and Raven Hudson; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members who mourn her passing.
Other than her parents and both husbands, she is also preceded in death by her siblings and their husbands and wives; Renda (and Heck) Taylor, Walter (and Nevada) Nicholas, Johnny (and Christine) Nicholas, Jane (and Oscar) Chestnut, Marie (and Herbert) New, Parker (and Melba) Nicholas, Jim (and Lorene) Nicholas and Leonard "Dook" (and Ardith) Nicholas.
Betty worked for more than 43 years with Palm Beach Manufacturing. She was a longtime member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and Parkers Mill Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly and was a godly lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service for Betty Louise Hudson Yahnig will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16th at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Darry Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family of Betty Louise Hudson Yahnig will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 4 to 6 PM Sunday, January 15th and after 9:00 a.m. Monday morning until time for services.
