Bobby Wesley, 79, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 4, 1939; son of the late Luther and Nina Perry Wesley; he was born and raised in the Mt. Zion community. Bobby was a member of East Somerset Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for several years. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. He and his wife Carolyn owned Carolyn's Furniture and Wesley's Furniture for many years until their retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Baugh Wesley whom he married on January 4, 1958; a daughter, Debora Wesley; a son, David & (Stacy) Wesley both of Somerset; eight grandchildren, Heather & (Corey) Bishop, Eric & (Candice) King, Jordon Wesley, Tyler King, Brandon Wesley, Megan & (Josh) Dean, Shanan & (Bryan) Shaver, and Shane & (Sonya) Akers; great-grandchildren, Logan Lay, Dustin Lay, Gordon Hare, Thurgood Hare, Mariece Hare, and Leslie King.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Gene Wesley, Joe Wesley, and Carrol Wesley.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2019 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Darvie Fenison, and Bro. Troy Merrick officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 10:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2019 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.
