Brenda Bryant Roaden, 85, of Somerset, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Brenda was born on August 23, 1940 in Burnside, Kentucky to Carl and Mary Walden Bryant. She grew up in Burnside where she was a member of the Girl Scouts of America and Attended Burnside School. She married the love of her life Harry B. Roaden on August 14. 1956 they would spend the next 61 years loving each other and their family.

She and her husband were passionate about entertainment and together they built and owned the 27 Twin Drive- In Theater as well as several other theaters and drive - in's across Kentucky. Over the years the 27 Drive- in would provide countless hours of amusement for area residents with its movies, annual Forth of July fireworks show and many other events.

Brenda was a avid sports fan and cheered on The Kentucky Wildcats in basketball and football as well as all of the rest of the U.K. sports teams. She enjoyed Crochet, driving her cars as well as Country and Gospel music. One of her favorite pass times was spending summers on Lake Cumberland boating with family where many good memories were made.

She was involved in her community where she was the founder of the Burnside Easter Egg Hunt, a benefactor of the Burnside Cemetery as well as several other causes and organizations. Brenda was the 2023 Lake Cumberland Business Woman of the Year. Brenda's main focus was always her family, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be missed by her family and her community.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry B. Roaden, her parents, Carl and Mary Roaden, four brothers; Ralph Owen Bryant, Eddie Gene Bryant, Harold Fox Bryant and Raymond Doyle Bryant as well as one sister, Ann Bryant Warpool.

She leaves behind three sons; Johnny Scott Roaden, Jerry Lee Roaden and Dwayne Evan Roaden, her beloved grand children; Jamie L. Roaden, Tiffany Nashay (Jeff) Roaden, Danielle Morgan Leigh Roaden, Christan Scott (Emily) Roaden, Brittany Nicole Ashton Roaden, Amberlee Loren (Brooke) Roaden, Kaylee Jordan Roaden- Walker, and Matthew Scott Evan Roaden, great grand children; Lucas Roaden, Bradon JaVius Franklin, Liam Matthew Roaden, Andrew Lucas Roaden and Conner James Roaden as well as three sister in law's; Ann Bryant , Pat Bryant , Donna Bryant and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating. There will be a live stream of the service on the Pulaski Funeral Home Facebook page.

Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Roaden, Tracy Bryant, Ronnie Lockard, Ray Bryant Jr., Matthew Roaden and Gary Yates. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Bradon Roaden, Danielle Roaden, Brittany Roaden, Amberlee Roaden, and Kaylee Walker and James “Jim” Brooks. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM till time for services.
