Brenda Sears

Brenda Rae Sears, 57, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 11, 1968; daughter of Brenda Faye (Helton) Roberts and the late Claude Ray Baker. She enjoyed painting, doing arts and crafts, going to flea markets, and spending time with her dog Roxi.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbie Schuitema & (Zachary Richardson); siblings, James Chuck Baker, Timothy & (Heather) Baker, and Tammy Gail Clingan; grandchildren, Devin Schuitema, Cayden Moses, and Justice Hill; her caretaker, Jim Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Boles; her father, Claude Ray Baker; and a granddaughter, Aysha Schuitema.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Grave Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Tuesday, August 26, 2025 until time for services.
