Bryan Odom

After a brief battle with colon cancer, Bryan Keith Odom went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

He is survived by his beloved family: his wife of nearly 34 years, Jana Macdonald Odom, his daughter Caitlyn Odom, his son Grayson Odom (Melanie), his granddaughter Montana, his father David Odom, his sister Laura Cooper (Jeff), his nephew Connor Cooper, and his uncle James Rash (Joan). He was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Rash Odom.

Bryan was born July 10, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was an avid musician, playing percussion in the band from middle school through high school and college. He enjoyed fishing, football, and playing with his beagles, Pippa and Meri. His greatest joy was his granddaughter, Montana. 

He received his Bachelors of Science in Business from Milligan College, and after his career spanned various opportunities from cabinet making to machine tooling, he achieved his current position as Senior Accountant for Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Bryan had a quiet but strong faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Somerset where he had served as an usher. He was loved by all and described as gentle, calm, and peaceful.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church.  A service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
