Mr. Carl Randolph Gulock, 84, departed this life peacefully on April 27, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on February 16, 1936 to Steve and Edna Gulock in Hamtramck, Michigan. He loved cooking big meals for his family and friends, dancing the night away at weddings, working in his yard and watching football games (especially Somerset High School, Virginia Tech and Middle Tennessee Football). He is also survived by his sister, Geraldine Gulock of Hamtramck, MI; his brother, Donald Gulock of Diamond Dale, MI; and his brother-in-law, Edward DeSilvia of Somerset, KY. In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his step-mother, Ann Gulock, who raised him; his sister, Teresa; his brother, Steven (Bob) Gulock; and his mother and father-in-law, Edward and Myra DeSilvia. Carl had gentle spirit and a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His family would like to thank Hospice of Lake Cumberland and the Hospice Unit at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for their wonderful love and support in Carl’s final days.
