Carter C. Muse

Mr. Carter C. Muse, age 84, of Nancy passed from this life on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at his home with family by his side.He was born on April 9, 1933 to the late Elbert and Alma Ard Muse in Bud, Ky. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953-55. Carter was a lifelong farmer, who loved the outdoors.Carter accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Sardis United Methodist Church of Nancy, Ky. He loved his Lord and church. He was united in marriage on January 17, 1959 in Tennessee to his loving wife Elva “Ilene” Rogers Muse. God blessed them with 59 years together.He is preceded in death by his brothers: Clifford Muse, of Frazier and Donald Muse, of Somerset; a sister, Ovelene Barker of Somerset; sister-in-laws: Blanche Muse and Juanita “Sue” Muse; brother-in-laws; Kenneth Weddle, Robert Barker, Jerry Polston, and Milton Ruckel.He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories his wife Ilene Muse, sisters: Pauline Weddle, Freda (Charlie) Yanders, Regena (Gene) Prather, and Patty Ruckel all of Nancy, KY along with a host of nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm on Sunday, April 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Funeral Service on Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am with Bro. Chris Jasper and Rick Barker officiating. Burial will take place at Whitus Cemetery in Nancy, Ky. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38.At Carter’s request, expressions of sympathy may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to to serve the family of Mr. Carter C.
