Charlene Lovins

Charlene Beever Lovins, 78, of the Shopville Community passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Peoria, IL on February 12, 1948; daughter of the late Harold Richard and Ella Mae Griffin Beever. Charlene retired from the Cookie Factory in London after many years of dedicated service. She cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed crocheting, tending to her flowers, and caring for animals. Throughout her life, she always had a special place in her heart for Dachshunds, a breed she dearly loved.

She is survived by her children, Ike Lovins, Jr., Lisa McCoy, Melissa (Daniel) Spears, John Lovins, and Peggy Annie Lovins; her sisters, Darlene Cook, Patricia Bradley, and Kathy Compton; her step-sisters, Doris Ellickson and Sherry Severns; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Walter Isaac "Ike" Lovins, Sr.; and her sister, Lynn Cochran.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
