Connie Hyden

Connie Childers Hyden passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 at her residence.  Connie was born on February 10th, 1949 in Somerset, KY to Galen Eugene and Mary Prather Childers. Connie worked at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in the finance Department for more than 41 years. during that time she helped a lot of people. She was known throughout the community for her kindness and big heart.
Connie is survived by one son, Alex Hyden and a grandaughter, Lucy; two brothers, William (and Barbara) Childers of Pendleton, IN and Gerald Childers of Somerset, KY; one sister, Mickey Keith of Somerset, KY; nephews, Cole (Shannon and Colton) Childers, Zack Childers, Jason (Michelle, Anna, and Ethan) Childers and Brandon Jasper.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death  by one son, Barry Hyden.
She was a kind and sweet person. She cherished her family and friends and she will be deeply missed.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 08, 2023 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Dalous Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the Prather Cemetery at Nancy, KY. The family of Mrs. Connie Hyden will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 8th at the Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services
