Danny Ray Keeney, age 61 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 13th 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on May 12th 1956 in Somerset, Kentucky. He was the son of Fay Sanders of Hamilton, Ohio and was raised by his Grandparents, Edward and Eliza Keeney of Somerset, Kentucky. He was a retired police officer, and a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sisters, Janis Farmer, Janet Meece, and Joyce & (Ray) Phelps all of Somerset. He is also survived by two half sisters, Pamala Sanders and Cella Traythwein; a half brother, Tommy Sanders of Hamilton, Ohio. A special Granddaughter Kinsley Helton; friends of Ashley Helton; Jeremy and Brooke Helton.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Lyman, Caroll, Howard and Wanda Keeney; two sisters, Eva Dell Bumgardner and Vera Jean Watson; A half sister Connie Sue Bish.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Plants officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
