Del E. Candido

"Del" E. Candido, daughter of the late Leonard A. and Ada James Watkins, was born at Dykes, KY on November 29th, 1937 and she departed this life on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 84 years.

Survivors include; two children, Dan Candido (and his wife Judi Lynn) and Joey Candido (and his wife Brenda) both of Somerset, KY; four grandchildren, Jennifer Blankenship (and her husband Chris), Steven Candido, Jonathan Candido (and his wife Kristen) and Justin Candido (and his wife Celeste); seven great grandchildren, Madelyn, Will, and Brady Blankenship, Kayla, Addison Jane, Hadley Del, and Jonathan Thomas Candido; three brothers, Bill Watkins, of Brooksville, IN, Cecil Watkins of Cincinnati, OH and Ronnie Watkins of Lexington, KY; two sisters, Lena Price of Trenton, OH, and Dean Conley of Somerset, KY.

Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Candido; two brothers, Leland Watkins and Eugene Watkins; and one sister, Zena Vanhook.

"Del" was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed feeding her birds, working in her flower garden, loving on her puppy "Coco". and being around her family. She was a kind, Christian lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

A funeral service for "Del" Candido will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Carr and Bro. Ron Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery.

The family of "Del" Candido will receive friends Monday, May 9th, 2022 at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 5 p.m.
