Douglas Begley

Mr. Douglas Wayne Begley, the son of Otis Gene and the late Mazie Adams Begley was born in Somerset, KY on January 29, 1962 and he departed this life on July 2, 2025 having attained the age of 63 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Nicki (and Allen) Beasley of Science Hill, KY; two grandchildren, Ayden and Brylee Beasley; his father, Otis Gene Begley, one sister, Donna (and Darrell) Martin, and nephew Troy Martin and a niece, Leslie (and Jon) Clark.

Doug was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Kentucky Wildcats. He also enjoyed fishing and being around his family. When he was active he was a practicing nurse. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of friends and family who mourn his passing.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, June 11, 2025 at Bethany Baptist Church at 3:00 PM.
