Elizabeth Ann Denney

Elizabeth Ann Denney of Somerset, formerly of Woodstock, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family under the care of Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Ann was born August 13, 1939 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 30, 2019.She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Elizabeth Denney. She is survived by her siblings, Murrell (and Reda) Denney of Waynesburg, Wendall (and Sandra) Denney of Somerset, Lana Blanton of Somerset, and Bruce (and Carolana) Denney of Somerset.Ann was a 30 year employee of Somerset GTE while never missing a single day of work. She loved University of Kentucky sports, NASCAR and her friends at Somerset Senior Citizens Center. Ann was a member of the High Street Baptist Church where she enjoyed her Sunday School class and Senior Saints.Ann had two special caregivers, Lydia Moore and Lindsey Lefever. The family would like to thank the nurses and crisis care team of Hospice of Lake Cumberlnad for thier care and assistance during Ann's final days spent in her home.In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home.
