Faye Vaught

   Melba "Faye" Vaught, age 90 of Somerset, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

 

    She was born on April 21, 1930 at Ula, Kentucky to the late Mitchell and Mary Woodall Hargis.  Faye was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted.  She served as Sunday School Teacher and expressed her love of music through singing in the Choir.  She worked at Palm Beach for 44 years and retired in 1992.

 

    Faye is survived by her sisters Ruby Rose Barnes and Mary Louise Phillips (Marvin) of Somerset, brother Donald Hargis (Martha) of Lexington, many nieces, nephews and friends.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

 

    She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Murrell Trimble, second husband Curtis Vaught, and brothers Dorwin Hargis and William "Billy Ray" Hargis.

 

    A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Logan Hargis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time for services.

 

    The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
