Frances Louise Akers, 81, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 27, 1937; daughter of the late Willie and Magolia Lowery Hollars. Louise enjoyed sewing, walking, and watching westerns.
She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Beatty of Russell Springs; grandchildren, Martha Beatty, and Jessie Cauley; great-granddaughter, Lisa Hunter & (Steven Miller); and great-great-granddaughter, Haley Whitt; and a brother, Johnny Hollars.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Akers; her parents; and three sisters, Edna Marie Meece, Rosie Eva Thompson, and Nancy West.
A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Hughes officiating.
Burial will follow in Sloans Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 2 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.
Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
