Gail Simpson

Gail Simpson, daughter of the late Dillard and Eva Durham Johnson, was born January 08, 1948 and she departed this life on June 26, 2017 having attained the age of 69 years.She was united in marriage to Mr. Lawrence Odell Simpson, he preceded her in death on April 14, 1990.Survivors include; two daughters, Marsha and Monica Simpson of Somerset, KY; three grandchildren, Abbygail, Kaden and Madelynn; one brother, B. R. Johnson of Oneida, TN; and three sisters, Inez Peters, Betty Sizemore, and Madge Sizemore all of Somerset, KY.Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; three brothers, Silas Presley, Rolly Madden and Fred Johnson; and four sisters, Thelma Freeman, Juanita Napier, Geraldine Enix, and Edith Witt.Gail was a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed drinking her favorite drink,Pepsi and talking on the phone. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time and sharing her life with her grandchildren.She was a very precious lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Johnson and Bro. B. R. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery in Rockcastle County, KY.The family of Gail Simpson will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Friday until time for services.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Gail Simpson during this time.
