Gary Wesley

Gary Dewayne Wesley, 81, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed from this life and entered his heavenly home on November 5, 2025, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

Gary was born on January 14, 1944 to the late Loyal and Geneva Godby Wesley.

He was a truck driver for Ned Godby for many years and later worked for the Pulaski County Board of Education in Maintenance and for the Crane Company.

Gary loved to watch Gunsmoke and WLJC . Gary was a member of The First Baptist Church of Science Hill for more than 60 years. Gary loved his family very much, but he had a special place in his heart for his great grandson Bryceson Wesley.

Gary married his beloved wife Shirley (Hall) Wesley on January 20, 1962. She preceded him in death on July 9th, 2023. Together they had three sons, Mark (Kim) Wesley, Michael (Barb) Wesley and Marty (Kara) Wesley. He had ten grandchildren; Matthew (Mindy ) Hargis, Josh (Laura) Wesley, Callie (Zach) Rogers, Hunter Wesley, Shelby (Kagen) Skidmore, Lucas (Kristen) Wesley, Aiden, Sophie and Scarlet Wesley, as well as Addie (Sawyer) Horton. He was great grandfather to Aleah, Byron, and Bryceson Wesley, Josiah Hargis, Hattie Jo and Hudson Rogers, Anna and Beau Wesley and Avery Skidmore.

Gary was preceded in death by his Parents, his wife, Shirley, his brother Jim Wesley, his in laws, Victor and Maggie Hall, a brother-in-Law, Danny Hall and a sister- in- law, Judy Hammond.

Gary is also survived by a sister, Brenda Eubank, sisters- in- law, Morene Wesley, Vicki Hall, Kathy Stringer, as well as brothers -in- law, Roger, Kevin and Ronnie Hall.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. T.J. Godby and Bro. Larry Butte officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Pulaski Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest in the Science Hill Cemetery.
