George " Bill"  Bryant, 86 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away September 12, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. 

He was born on October 3, 1936 in Somerset, Kentucky to Virgil and Elanore Aker Bryant. George attended Pulaski County High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1955. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 9 years where he achieved the rank of Airman 1st. Class E4. After his military service he was employed by GTE from which he retired after 30 years of service. 

George is survived by his wife, Janie Bryant, his son William Terry Bryant (Lisa) his granddaughter; Kimber (Joe) Keeney, six great grandchildren; Kamryn, Kaylee, Kason, Kali, Jace and Ellie, a brother; Arthur Wayne (Deanna) Bryant, a Sister; Barbara Smith as well as a friend and neighbor Kenny Brown. 

He was Preceded in death by his parents as well as his first wife; Betty Daulton Bryant , his daughter, Renee, one granddaughter; Chelsie, his sister; Ruby Rose, and  two brothers in law; Otis Rose and Paul Smith. 

A visitation will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
