Hattie Burton

Hattie Louise Burton of Dayton passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. She was 88.

Born in Breathitt County, KY on October 8, 1935, she was the daughter of late Polly Carpenter and Mize Fugate, Sr. She was retired from General Motors in Dayton, OH and was a member of the West Carrollton Order of Eastern Star No. 571. She was devoted to her family and faith and loved her children and grandchildren beyond words. She was loved by many and will be missed beyond measure.

Survivors include her son, Russell and Patricia Burton; son, Randall Burton; daughter-in-law, Pamela Burton; son-in-law, Harold Glick; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Harvey Burton; daughter, Jane Glick; son, Ricky Burton; and grandson, Joel Burton.

A funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 PM until time for services.

Burial will follow in Burnett's Chapel Cemetery.
