Indavada Gibson, age 87, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away from this life on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born on October 24, 1930 in Somerset, Kentucky; daughter of the late John and Edna Hardwick Gibson.
Indavada was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and devoted most of her life to caring for her son until his death in 2013.
She is survived by four sons, Earl & (Debbie) Gibson, Danny & (Missy) Gibson, Doyle & (Shannon) Gibson, and Michael Gibson; sisters, Ola Mae Hancock and Helen Williams; a brother, Leroy & (Sherry) Gibson; six grandchildren, Amy Gibson, Katy & (Jerry) Garland, Kris & (Krista) Gibson, Chasity & (Jody) Meece, Tyler & (Brittany) Gibson and Autumn & (Hunter) Young; eleven great-grandchildren, Braden, Kannon, Brady, Grant, Jordan, Kollin, Hannah, Ella, Isaac, Sophia, Ariel, and many special friends at Crestview Assist Living Facility and the Pulaski Co. Alzheimers Disease Respite Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronnie Lee Gibson; her brothers, Hoover Gibson and Joe Gibson; and a sister, Alvena Gibson Mitchell.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday September 29, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Pendley officiating.
Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Pulaski Co., Alzheimer's Disease Respite Center.
