Irene Glover

Irene Glover, age 78, of Somerset passed away Wednesday November 5, 2025 at her home. 

She was born in Ano, Kentucky on February 27, 1947 to the late Rev. Robert and Nora Wells Bullock. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Phillip Burdine, one brother, William Oliver Bullock, 2 sisters, Wanda Bray and Mary Lucy Ware. 2 grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Glover, whom she married on August 8, 2008. A daughter, Jennifer Hughes and her husband Jim, of Somerset. A son, Greg Burdine and his wife Jeanetta of Pine Knot, KY. A sister, Patricia Heckman and her husband Chuck of Beaver Creek, Ohio. She has 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are Larry's children:Larry Ray and Michelle Glover. Kelly Glover Nicholas and Anthony of Somerset. He has 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Irene had been a nurse for many years. She worked at Somerset City Hospital, Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital as well as Family Practice Clinic and Lake Cumberland Medical Associates. She was also a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church #1. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Eggers officiating.

 Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Monday until time for services at the funeral home.
