June 6, 1949 - November 30, 2025
James H. Davis, affectionately known as "Jim," passed away peacefully in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant (E-5) in the United States Air Force.
Jim was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1979. During his military career, Jim was stationed at several bases across North America, including MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL), Wright-Patterson AFB (Dayton, OH), Goose Bay (Labrador, Canada), Malmstrom AFB (Great Falls, MT), and Randolph AFB (Universal City, TX). He often spoke fondly of his time in the service and later in life expressed that he wished he had stayed longer.
Jim was a man of many passions. Before being slowed by COPD, he loved riding his motorcycle with friends, often taking weekend trips just for the joy of the ride. He was also a lifelong car enthusiast, especially fond of Corvettes, owning several throughout the years.
He is survived by his sons Chris (Mary) Davis and Jeff Davis; grandchildren Jordan (Nathan) Seebohm, Hailey Davis, and Morgan Davis; great-grandchildren Bryson and Greysen Seebohm; his brother Gerry (Mary) Davis; nephew Patrick Davis; and niece Kaitlyn Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia L. Davis, and his parents, William and Luellen Davis.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Pulaski Funeral Home, followed by burial with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jim's name to the Gary Sinise Foundation or Disabled American Veterans (DAV) - two causes that reflect his lifelong respect for fellow service members.
Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
