James Edwin "Jim" Mounce

James Edwin Mounce, son of the late Everett and Mary Dykes Mounce was born October 18, 1957 and he departed this life on July 10, 2019 at his residence, having attained the age of 62 years.

He was united in marriage to Diana Miller Howard Mounce, she survives.

Other survivors include; one son, Steven Mounce of Someret, KY, two step sons, Steve and Loria Allen Howard of Somerset, KY and Charles Michael Gardner of Franklin, IN; three daughters, Tresa Bray, Cassie Williams and Kayla Mounce all of Somerset, KY; two brothers Robert "Rob" and Cindi Mounce of London, KY and Charles Mounce of Somerset, KY; one sister, Thelma Jo Ann "Jo" Glover of Somerset, KY.; six grandchildren, and eleven step-grandchildren.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Carrie Ann Howard and one brother, Johnny Mounce.

Jim was an avid fisherman, and a member of the Providence Baptist Church. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service for Mr. James "Jim" Mounce will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Providence Baptist Church with Bro. David Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery.

The family of Mr. James Edwin "Jim" Mounce will receive friends at the Providence Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. Friday until time for services.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Hospice of Lake Cumberland for their wonderful care and concern during this time.
