James Weaver

James Louis Weaver passed away Sunday December 14, 2025. Born September 29, 1957 to William James and Estella Bernice Weaver (Helm) of Dayton, Ohio.

Married February 6, 1976 he leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Jon Dee Weaver. Daughters Shannon Letson (Greg Smith) and Crystal (Brian) Sowder. And beloved grandchildren Max and Nova Sowder and Hailey Sizemore. Preceded in death by sister Christina Howard and nephews Brian Howar and William Weaver. He is survived by a sister, Colleen Weaver, and a brother William (Tonya) Weaver. Niece Heather (Irwin) Alcantara and nephews Dennis Weaver, Johnny Bradford (Amber Smith), David (Katlen) Hughes.

A skilled mechanic and technician he was a '93 graduate of Somerset Technical College, holding a degree in Airplane Mechanics. He later went on to spend many years at Somerset Woods Products. He was a long term resident of Dixie Bend Retreat where he enjoyed socializing and spending time with many close friends and family. He enjoyed fishing, spending time outside around the bonfire, tinkering in the garage, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He was loved and will be missed by many.
