Joe Jay Price

Joe Jay Price, 87, of the Dahl Community, passed away on November 12, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in the Dahl Community on October 30, 1938; son of the late, Leonard Bliss Price and Ina Mize Price. He was a lifelong farmer and retired from the Pulaski County Road Department. He attended The Old Path Baptist Church, he cherished riding the side-by-side through the woods with his wife, Norma, caring for their farm, spending time outdoors, and loved listening to Bluegrass and Country music.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma Whitaker Price, whom he married on July 20, 1962; siblings, Imogene McCalister, Willard Price, and Bobby Lee & (Phyllis) Price; special friends, Tom & Tanya Chaney; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Allene Nicely; a brother, James Price; brother-in-law, Alvis McCalister; and a sister-in-law, Joann Price.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Jim Mize, David Dykes, and Bro. Bradley Goforth officiating.

Burial will follow in the Renfro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 10 AM on Saturday November, 15, 2025 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.
