Born on October 25, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio; daughter of the late, George and Janet (Snyder) Bagnull. Karen lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, unwavering faith, and a deep devotion to her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she cherished her church family and enjoyed being an active participant in the life of the congregation.

Karen was an exceptionally talented seamstress and crafter who found great joy in creating beautiful things with her hands. She transformed the basement of her home into a welcoming gathering place where friends would come together to sew, craft, and enjoy one another's company. Filled with fabric and countless crafting supplies, her sewing room became a place of fellowship, laughter, creativity, and lasting friendships. Her home was always open, and she delighted in making others feel welcomed and loved.

Above all, Karen possessed a fierce love for her family, her friends, and her church family. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, faith, and treasured memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Michael & (Amy) Casedy; her brother, George & (Lynn) Bagnull; her beloved granddaughters, Megan and Camryn; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
