Kathleen Wyatt Hargis, 88, of Someret, passed away Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at her home. She was born November 6, 1931 to Delbert and Arizona Whitaker Wyatt of Somerset, KY.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dorwin, whom she married on March 17, 1955. Also preceding her in death was one son, Timothy Dorwin, and sisters, Ann, Louella, Reva, and Geraldine and brothers, Lee, and Lawrence.She is survived by two sons, Joey (and Chloe) Hargis and David (and Beth) Hargis both of Somerset, KY, and one daughter-in-law, Ann Hargis of Berea, KY; one brother, Varna Wyatt of Speedway, Indiana and one sister, Letha Mize of Somerset.Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Kristi (and Chad) Shipp, Logan (and Rachel) Hargis, Zachary (and Whitnie) Hargis, Lindsey (and Steven) Lashley all of Somerset, Sara (and Brian) Foos of Detroit, MI, Erin (and Jonathan) Huff of Berea, KY and Nate (and Stephanie) Hargis of Lexington, KY and Eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives who mourn her passing.Kathey loved to cook and fish, She was an active member of the Langdon Street Baptist Church until shortly before her death. Most of all, she loved the Lord and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Logan Hargis and Bro. Kurt Neeley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.The family of Mrs. Kathleen Hargis will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 17th, 2020.In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Langdon Street Baptist Church Building Fund.Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Mrs. Kathleen Hargis.
