In Loving Memory of Raymond Keith Braun July 5, 1945 - January 5, 2026 Raymond Keith Braun was a man whose life was defined by love, faith, and joyful presence.
Family was always at the center of his world, and he made everyone around him feel seen, cherished, and remembered. He had a remarkable way of taking genuine interest in people-remembering their stories, their hearts, and who they truly were.
Keith's devotion as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend knew no bounds. Acts of quiet kindness were second nature to him-whether that meant showing up with treats for a gathering or offering encouragement exactly when it was needed. He carried warmth with him wherever he went.
Keith was known for whistling or singing as he moved through the world, especially songs of praise in his deep love for Jesus. His faith was his anchor and his strength, guiding him through every season of life. He lived his beliefs with humility, joy, and steadfast trust.
Keith was wonderfully silly, corny, and playful, bringing laughter and light into everyday moments. He had a special affection for children and delighted in their presence, always ready with a smile, a joke, or a song.
Born and raised in Norwood, Ohio, Keith dedicated his professional life to service and education. He worked as a firefighter, teacher, and school principal-roles that reflected his commitment to protecting, guiding, and uplifting others.
Keith is survived by his beloved spouse, Sheila Morgan; his children Kimberly Braun, Kelly (Stephen) Chin-Yee, Adam (Ashley) Braun, and Calie (Matthew) Hudson; and his siblings Betty and Chuck Braun, Roseanne Braun, Linda Braun, and Co Coddington and a robust number of cousins, nieces, and nephews with more joining the family every year. He was preceded in death by his siblings Butch and Gary Braun, and Sandy Coddington.
He leaves behind a cherished legacy through his grandchildren Andrea Peck, Monica (Rod) Thomas, Raina (Adrien) Pearson, Oliviah, David, Sophia, and Tessah Braun, Lazarus and Hezekiah Hudson, and his great-grandchildren Evelyn Peck, Rowen, Tatum, Remi, and Archer Thomas.
Raymond Keith Braun will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his boundless love, his joyful spirit, and the way he made people feel deeply valued. His song continues in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
