Kelda Wade

Ms. Kelda Wade, 80, of Berea formerly of Somerset, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.

She was born on August 11, 1939 in Pulaski Co.; daughter of the late Cleston Barnes and Nell Bray Bean. She was a homemaker.

Ms. Wade is survived by her children, Genella (and Joey) Ihrig, and Timothy Wade and (Tiffany) all of Berea, Kentucky; step-children, Wanda (and George) Sanders, Patricia (and Mike) Cyrus, Dallas Lee (and Muriel) Wade, Raymond (and Beth) Wade of Ocala, Florida, Larry (and Harriet) of Marietta, Georgia; Kelda was the grandmother of Wade (and Samantha) Gover and William (and Megan) Gover of Berea, Tyler (and Brittany) Wade and Travis (and Allie) Wade of Somerset, Kentucky; great-grandmother of Danella Gover, Campbell Wade, and Annistyn Wade; a nephew, Tony Griffin; a special friend, Jim Bolton; a family friend, Glenn Gover; and host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Raymond Wade whom she united in marriage back on December 10, 1960; her parents, Cleston Barnes and Nell Bray Bean; a sister, Ruby Griffin; and a brother-in-law, Johnny Griffin.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Gover officiating.

Burial will be in Burnside Cemetery.

Visitation for Ms. Kelda Wade will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 until time for funeral services.
