Kennie Manis Slone

March 27, 1957 — June 21, 2024

Kennie Manis Slone, 67, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away on June 21, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
 
He was born to parents Marvin and Joyce Slone, on March 27, 1957, in Pippa Passes, Kentucky. He married Becky, the love of his life, in 1980, who survives him after 44 years of marriage.  Kennie is survived by his daughter, Erin, two sons, Josh and John, and his precious granddaughter, Caroline.  He is also survived by his siblings, Diane Morford and Garry Slone, and a host of nieces and nephews. 
 
Kennie was known for his deep devotion to service and love of God and family. As well as his devotion to his friends. He loved being outside, on the water boating, and fishing. Kennie was always ready to lend a hand, speak kind words, or provide guidance or support.   Renowned for his quick wit, generous heart, and sense of humor, he was truly unforgettable. Everywhere Kennie went, he brought smiles, making people feel welcomed.

He will be missed.   
 
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1 PM to 4 PM, on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Pulaski Funeral Home.
