Larry Roberts

Larry G. Roberts of Nancy, KY passed away from this life on February 18, 2026 , at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital having attained the age of 74 years.

He was born February 12, 1952 in Faubush, KY to Harold Ray and Gladys Marie Foster Roberts. They both preceded him in death.

Larry spent 31 years as a high school Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor, first at Eubank High School, then Pulaski High School, and lastly at Southwestern High School. In those roles, Larry positively influenced the lives of hundreds of students. Many of those students have continued life-long friendships with Larry.

Larry never met a stranger. He could, would and did talk to everyone. For many years after retirement, he would frequent all the thrift stores and volunteered at Good Samaritan quite often. Many lasting friendships formed from these chance meetings with total strangers.

Those left to cherish Larry's memory are Greg (and Ester) Barron and David Flynn (and Sue Petrosky) whom he considered his own sons, a special friends, Dr. David (and Stephanie) Massey with whom he talked on a nearly daily basis, as well as a host of cousins and many other friends.

Larry was an avid animal lover. In Lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Somerset - Pulaski County Humane Society, 179 Chris Way, Somerset, KY 42501.

A funeral service for Larry G. Roberts will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Mr. Roberts will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
