Leonard Austin Wallace

Leonard Austin Wallace, 70, of Cincinnati, OH formerly of the Sloans Valley Community, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at his residence.   He was born in Sloans Valley, Kentucky on January 29, 1947; son of the late George Austin & Nora Lee Ogden Wallace.    He is survived by his wife, Mary Trammell Wallace; five sons, John Wallace, Joseph & (Jesslyn) Wallace, Jeff Wallace, Jerry Wallace, and James Wallace; brothers Glen, William, George; sister's, Piney, Helen, Kay, Linda, and Patricia; half siblings, Larry Woodrum, Buddy Woodrum, James Woodrum, Allen Woodrum, and Anthony Woodrum; and several grandchildren, to which he adored and loved spending time with.    He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arthur; a sister, Peggy; and three half sister's, Darlene Woodrum, Dina Woodrum, and Debbie Woodrum.    He was raised by his family in Cincinnati, OH and the alpine area was Leonard's summer home as a child. He always had a love for the peace and tranquility of Alpine, KY that was his wish to be laid to rest at Blue John Cemetery.   A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Damon Jones officiating.   Visitation will be after 10:30 AM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.    Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
