Lillian Zoraida Tees Whitis passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at the age of 92.
Born on December 16, 1933, Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved sitting and enjoying the company of her family. She lived a life marked by love, strength, and quiet grace, always making those around her feel welcomed and cared for. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit left lasting impressions on everyone who knew her.

She found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments, especially time spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-child. Her legacy is one of compassion, resilience and deep devotion to family.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Howard Tees and Lillian Mildred Jasper; her beloved husband, Everett Lee Whitis, whom she married on July 5, 1983; her son David Lee Whitis; and her grandson Michael Scott Haynes.

She is survived by her loving children; daughters Dolores Phoenix O'Donnell; Terri Whitis Chaney (husband Brad); Tammy Whitis Thompson (husband Jeff); Angela Whitis Weston (husband Jim); and son Gary Whitis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild, as well as her sister, Helen ('Tikey") Ferrell (husband Gene), who will cherish her memory.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2026 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
