Lois Keeney

Mrs. Lois Keeney, daughter of the late Virgil and Girtie Leffew Rainwater, was born on Monday, June 08, 1931 and she departed this life on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 having attained the age of 87 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Murrell Keeney, he preceded her in death. Three children blessed this union, all of which survive, they are; Edward (and Vickie) Keeney, Janice (and Larry) Shepperd and Rebecca (and Hobert) Dick all of the Trimble Community of Pulaski County; two grandchildren, Phillip (and Andrea) Keeney and Dawna (and James) West all of Somerset, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Kyle West and Ivy West both of Somerset, Kentucky; and two brothers, George Rainwater of Williamsport, Indiana and Lee Rainwater of Somerset, Kentucky. Other than her parents and her husband, she is also preceded in death by; eight brothers, Virgil Rainwater, Jr., Dean Rainwater, Eugene Rainwater, Boyd Rainwater,Clifford Rainwater, Chester Rainwater, and two brothers that died in infancy. Lois was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church #1, she enjoyed time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Due to her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Mill Springs National Cemetery Monday, April 15th, 2019.  Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Lois Keeney.
