Lorene Vaught

Lorene Vaught, 95, of Vaught Ridge, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Casey Co. Hospital.

She was born on January 15, 1926; daughter of the late Clyde and Martha Jasper Dalton. Lorene was a member of the Vaught Ridge Church of Christ for over 70 years and lived in the Mintonville and Vaught Ridge Community most of her life. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. She dearly loved her grandkids.

She is survived by one son, David R. & (Sherry) Vaught; and her grandson, Jimmy R. & (Daria) Vaught; two sisters, Helen Jones, and Beulah Jones; and a step-grandson, Travis D. & (Amber) New; and step-great=grandson, Jonathon New.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos R. Vaught whom she married on February 28, 1946, and who passed in March 1977; her parents; two children, Harold R. Vaught, and Connie L. Vaught; one step-son, Larel R. Vaught; siblings, Loretta Jasper, George Dalton, May Russell, Lou Powers, Lizzie Jones, and Minnie Thompson.

Private services will be held.

Burial will be in Vaught Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Pulaski Funeral Home.
