Margie Pearl Meece passed away February 12, 2020 of renal cancer. She was 79 years old.Shortly before 2 PM our beloved mother took her last earthly breath and went peacefully to Heaven to be with Jesus. As she slipped away, we told her how much we love her and how thankful we are for the life she has lived. She was the picture of a loving wife, mother, and God fearing woman. Her faith in our Lord was the most important thing in her life. She was loyal to her church, where she faithfully taught Bible classes until her illness prevented her from attending services.Margie was born on February 27, 1940 in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Bettie B. Meece and Harvey Mason Meece. She was preceded in death by a sister, Phoebe Eunice Meece. The love of her life, Bernard Meece, preceded her in death also and we are comforted to think there is a joyous reunion with her loved ones as we are mourning her passing.Margie is survived by her brother, Paul H. Meece, with whom she shared a treasured and loving relationship. She is survived by her daughter, Jan; Jan's husband, Bob; her daughter, Tammie; Tammie's husband, Ricky; her son, Brent; and Brent's wife, Jill, whom she loved as dearly as she did her own children. She was affectionately known as "Mamaw" or "Memaw" to her grandchildren.
