Marie Renfro

Marie Neal Renfro, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1926 to Fred and Tempa Neal in Funston, Kentucky.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; four daughters, Valeria Jean Renfro, Carol Knowles, Susan Collins, and Sharon Burnett; five brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include Catherine Bayer (Milton); special love and remembrance to Joyce and Clayton Barnett, Georgia and Robert Keith, Reda and Ronald Bennett, Tom and Beverly Renfro, George Renfro Jr. (deceased), and Brenda Renfro. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Marie worked for many years as a receptionist at Somerset Undertaking Company and as a compositor for the Commonwealth Journal. Marie was a long-standing member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, KY.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Luthy officiating.

Burial will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home.
