Marvin E. Wimmer, 87, of Liberty, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at his home. He was born in Mercer Co., WV on April 16, 1933; son of the late James Claude and Carrie Ada Anderson Wimmer. He was a former welder, and most notably, a jack of all trades. He was a man who loved to laugh, and make others laugh too. He was an avid Chess and Checkers player, sang and played guitar at Dunnville Church of God; where he was a member for more than 35 years and loved fixing things when others couldn't. A man of many talents, he never had idle hands. He loved his children, grandchildren, and his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Justice Wimmer, whom he married on March 14, 1960; his children, Mark Edward Wimmer & (Sheila), Richard Lee Wimmer & (Loretta "Lou"), Steven Michael Wimmer & (Sandy), Shellie Melissa Hensley & (Norman "Norm"), his special princess, Rebekah Tucker; a brother, William Thomas "WT" Wimmer; a sister, Naomi Elkins & (Otto); grandchildren, Mark Jeremy Wimmer, Cory Adam Wimmer, Chad Blaine Wimmer, Boston Chase Wimmer & (Billie), Madison Lee Wimmer, Carter Shelby Wimmer, Benjamin Michael Wimmer, Sabina Elisabeth Wimmer, Derek James Hensley, Hailey Rose Hensley, Connor Bryan Hensley. In accordance with the mandate set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, private services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Galilean Home Chapel with Bishop Ted Stidham & Bro. Rick Wimmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Galilean Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Galilean Home Chapel until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
