Mary "Gail" Bowser

Mary "Gail" Bowser, 80, Passed from her earthly life to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

 
She was born April 03, 1942 in Sloans Valley, Kentucky to Hollis and Ada (Shadoan) Helton. She was a retail clerk for many years for the Watson's Company as well as other chain stores. She enjoyed canning, crochet and crafting as well as making quilts to donate to others. Gail also wrote poetry and composed a book of her own poetry. She especially loved to visit Tybee Island where she made wonderful memories vacationing with her family. Gail never met a stranger and loved everybody, especially her family. She was the world's greatest mom and friend and though she will be deeply missed, Heaven has gained another Angel.
 
She leaves behind to mourn her passing, Her high school sweetheart and husband, Fred Nelson Bowser Sr. a son; Fred Bowser Jr. and his wife Missy, two daughters; Betty Bowser Prater and her spouse Robie, Katherine "Jean" Bowser Biliter and her Husband Hank, Twelve grandchildren; Tiffany, Brian, Daniel, Jay, Justin, Joshua, Jeani, James, Johnathan, and Sarah, as well as eleven great grandchildren and honorary grandchildren Chelsea and Melissa. Gail also leaves two sisters; Fay and Jim Duff, Phyllis and Chris Nevada; and a brother, James and Carolyn Helton.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Gene and Ada (Shadoan) Helton, and her sibling Carolyn Elleman and her husband Pete.
 
A visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at Pulaski Funeral Home from 9:00 AM till service time. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM with Bro. Kevin Pitman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery.
