Mary Locke

Mary Louise Locke, 92, of Burnside, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born in Jackson, Kentucky on December 14, 1933; daughter of the late Carl and Pauline Bach. She was a retired cosmetology teacher.

She is survived by her husband; Don Locke, three daughters, Pauline Morris (Richard Morris, Cynthia Haines (Bill Haines), and Theresa Temple (Jeff Temple); as well as her son George Fugate. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and cherished her role as a great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by her sister Carlene Castle and her son Donald Goosey.

A woman of many talents, Mary had a deep appreciation for art and creativity. She created beautiful paintings that reflected her artistic spirit and completed intricate puzzles that showcased her patience and attention to detail. Her hobbies brought joy not only to herself but also to those who admired her work.

Mary's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her legacy of love, creativity, and family bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

A celebration of life service will follow.
